Variety: Red Blend

Red blends are commonly more used than white blends throughout the world. Most of the wines from the “Old World” are the result of blends. Many of the greatest appellations and best rated wines in Europe are also made with blended grapes. On the other side, one of the reasons why “New World Wines” became famous is due to its position on the market with single grape wines. However they are nowadays also producing some top blended wines using a lot of different grapes for a complex and high quality result.
