Variety: White Blend

The main goal of making blended wines is to add complexity to the flavors of the wine.
Some regions of the “Old World” are quite famous for typical white wine blend such as Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc in Bordeaux and of course the world wide famous blend of Chardonnay-Pinot Noir-Pinot Meunier (blending both white and red grapes) that produces Champagne and some sparkling wines. Different white wine blends are currently produced by the “New World”, adding interesting new flavors and complexity to the wine.
